while scouring youtube for some interesting videos, i felt a little bit patriotic and searched for the "wow philippines" video ads. interestingly enough, both the various artists and regine's commercials were posted on youtube. i realized that the perfect complement to this whole photography thing is to go around the country, attend the festivals and capture them as they happen. i've managed to see a few of the scenic places but there are still A LOT out there that begs to be seen. so maybe if i plan and save well, i can finally go visit these places.
looking at these ads, you just gotta love the beauty of this country. yes, perhaps there are other places and countries equally (or more) beautiful. but i love being in this country (traffic, corruption, steep taxes and all).
