ultimate atkins

our date for the ultimate atkins diet was thought of a week earlier during our texas roadhouse baby back ribs dinner. gizie scheduled the dinner at fogo e brasa (4909 E Chandler Blvd) around 6pm and i got there sometime around half past six. we started out with a few bites from the salad bar - some mussels, shrimps and crabs. as soon as we turned the sign "green" the meat carvers came one after the other putting slices of an assortment of meat on our plates. we dined on picanha (rumpsteak), alcantra (top sirloin), fraldinha (flank steak), lombo (pork loin), linquica (sausage), ham, chicken wings and frango (turkey wrapped in bacon). the meal came with a variety of sides - farofa, fried bananas, vinagrette, rice and refried beans. i had a bottle of bud light which felt good after devouring all of those meat. it was great the first two rounds of the meat but it was becoming more of an ordeal after - too much meat is really too much. i felt ready to throw up after taking a few bites of the tiramisu i ordered. it was a great atkins experience though - something probably you'd do at least once a year - at $49.
